News & Notes November 6, 2012

This is our final News & Notes of this election cycle.  Please vote responsibly.

I’ll be voting for Jill Stein for President, will pass on the U.S. Senate race, then support Aryanna Strader for Congress, Eugene DePasquale for Auditor General, Rob McCord for Treasurer, Jordan Yeager for Attorney General (write-in), Judy Schwank for State Senate and Mark Rozzi for State House.

I will refuse to show ID at the poll and I’ll explain to them I don’t live n the Soviet Union and refuse to show my papers on demand.  Here’s a significant former McCain manager on the issue of voter impersonation:  “It’s part of the mythology now in the Republican Party that there’s widespread voter fraud across the country.”

Thursday morning I fly to Santa Fe for four weeks.  I don’t know yet if I’ll have internet access there.  If not I’ll get on sporadically at a local cafe.  I am hoping to do a few interviews while in New Mexico and, of course, photos.

I’m posting this video for obvious reasons (handsome young guys in speedos):

Mayor is a bookie?  Only in Pennsylvania.  Is he a crook?  You can make book on it, even with him.

Early voters in minority areas of Ohio and Florida are waiting 7 hours in line to vote.  This is classic Republican voter suppression.  They intentionally supply minority polls with fewer machines in order to frustrate them into not voting.
